A MODERN APPROACH TO PIANO
Over the past 8 years, Jodie has been teaching in Henderson, NV, where she built a loyal following of families who value a more engaging and effective approach to piano lessons. Known for creating a fun, encouraging environment, her teaching style keeps students motivated while delivering real progress.
As her reputation grew, so did her studio. What began as a home-based program quickly filled to capacity, a reflection of both the results her students achieved and the experience she created for them.
Jodie’s background in education plays a major role in that success. With formal training in Special Education and Educational Leadership, she understands how students learn best and how to adapt her teaching to meet a wide range of learning styles and abilities. This allows her to reach students in a way that feels natural, supportive, and effective, whether they are beginners or more advanced.
In addition to her work at Journey, Jodie is also the co-owner of PianoBox, a company she runs with her mom, Kathie Warnock, a longtime piano teacher. Together, they’ve created innovative group piano materials used by thousands of teachers around the world, including games, resources, and a comprehensive theory curriculum designed to make learning both engaging and impactful.
These materials are a core part of the Journey experience, bringing a level of creativity and structure that keeps students challenged, confident, and excited to learn.
With the launch of Journey Piano Studio, Jodie is expanding her vision, creating a space where more students can experience this approach and be part of something special.
